Soccer Time

Last Fall we made a trip to visit family in Dallas. During our time there, four of the five cousins had games. We attend as many as time and driving allowed. After that trip, Hannah never let us forget how much she loved soccer. She wanted to be just like her cousins and play. We knew that we missed sign-ups for the fall, but told her that in the Spring she could try it out. Well, she did not forget. This is a new adventure for us. We have put her in gymnastics before, but it has always been during the day. Now we have practice once a week and a game on Saturday. We realize this will only be the beginning. Actually this is probably the least busy that we will be for a long time. Before we know it, the boys will each have a sport, as well as Hannah. It has been a lot of fun though. Hannah has now had 2 soccer games this season. The first game, she scored 3 times!!! The second game, she scored once! We have been very proud of her. She gets in there and tries to get the ball most of the time. She thinks that she knows every thing that you need to know about soccer already. She is on the same team as one of her best buddies, our neighbor Ashlyn. They think that they are pretty cute, and they are right. We have some really good girls on our team, so it will be interesting to see how much ball time the girls who have never played before get.
